I've been trying to figure out what causes the layout problem with linebreaks in table cells, but so far haven't managed to find a perfect solution. It seems that the least bad solution is to use list format (asterisk symbols) only in those cells that cause the problem, which seems to be cells containing two or more linebreaks. Behaviour is good and predictable in cells with only one linebreak, and at the same time, the asterisk trick doesn't behave as expected in such cells. Very odd, and very annoying, since the only solution causes inconsistent layout, but it'll probably work out okay from a readability point of view.--Peter Knutsen (the Designer) 23:31, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
New, slimmer Power Table done
I've made a new Power Table that is much briefer, because it does not explain what each ability does, except sometimes very briefly (and I may be able to shorten down those bits, slightly). Instead, each ability's name is mentioned, and the abilities are then explained beneath the table. Much slimmer, and thus making it much easier to get an overview of what each PL does, because the entire table, or at least most if it, can fit on a single screen, depending on text size and screen resolution. I've also added pretty much every ability I wanted to add, such as Fast Work and Workshop Prowess. PLs 2.5, 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 are deliberately empty, because I feel like making the gaps or power jumps starker. As for pricing, I'm thinking a base cost for CF4, then 7.5% cheaper for each Cf above 4, and 15% costlier for each CF less than 4, and a doubling of DP cost for each 3 Power Levels (thus PL10 costs 8 times as much as PL1). I'll probably just create new articles for Simple Items, and move much of the content from the Lesser Item (=old name) over to the new articles, including the discussion between myself and loki (on the Talk page of the article on magical light sources).
